162/7.
I see Alex Hales hastily removed a tweet questioning Bairstow's sportsmanship yesterday and Read implied it was against the spirit of the game. It was a smart bit of cricket from him and dozy by Patel, the commentary teams on TV and radio all thought it was poor from Patel rather than Bairstow.

Bollocks to them anyway, 3 more wickets needed.

Must admit I had high hopes for Yorkshire at the start of the season, Gillespie has been a brilliant appointment and in his three seasons as coach Yorkshire have only lost three County matches. The Academy won the Yorkshire league this season so there are plenty of good young players still coming through the system so hopefully losing players to the national team won't have too much of an effect. The young lad Sidebottom is one to keep an eye on.

Congratulations to Yorkshire well deserved win but that's an appalling display by Notts, to get beaten so comprehensively at home when a win gives you a real chance of the title is pretty pathetic.

Good on Warwickshire, won the T20, looking at 2nd in the Championship and in the final for the 50over format, it's an incredibly good season regardless of what happens from here.

10 points at home to Durham guarantees us 2nd....so a draw (5pts) plus 3 for bowling em out then score 250 or bat first and get 400 inside 110 overs...easy peasy!!!
We will know exactly what we have to do as Notts play Sussex next week as we play the week after.

Yes a good season....let's just make sure we win at Lords next week also against Durham
