I bought my tickets back in May. 2 in the Press Box stand. Lovely.

I've been with my current partner for just over 3 years and it took that long to get her interested in Cricket. She got really interested in the Indian IPL earlier this year and decided finals day would be a great day out. She is also a Hampshire girl, so I have my fingers crossed for them this afternoon against Notts.

Good stuff. Hopefully we'll be the second game on rather than the first so I can see most of it after the Villa.

Still think they should arrange it so that Twenty20 Finals day happens BEFORE the football starts up again, but the ECB seem to do what they can to discourage crowds from turning up.

According to Wiki and I don't know why they would have it and not the ECB, it will be Lancs v Surrey up first. Warwickshire (I refuse to call them Birmingham) will play Notts or Hants in the second semi at 2.30pm.

What do Wiki know?

From the ECB Website

The line-up for the NatWest T20 Blast semi-finals at Edgbaston are as follows:

Saturday, August 23

Surrey v Birmingham Bears.

Hampshire v Lancashire Lightning.

The order of the semi-finals is to be announced.

The final will be played between the semi-final winners with a scheduled 6.45pm start time.

Got my wish though, with Hampshire getting through. Could well be a Domestic on the Horizon!!

Worried about K.P. mind you. Finals days are when he generally turns up! Don't like him one bit but when he's in form he is great to watch.

May be in Birmingham that day. If not, in the pub enjoying the football and cricket.

If the latest Met Office forecast is correct, there will not be much play in tomorrow's RLC game against Somerset at Edgbaston.

So much for the weather forecast.
Somerset 298 for 5 from their 50 overs.

Gloucestershire are quietly doing well in the other group. Lost the first game but now 3 wins on the bounce.

Don't think I'm going to get my money's worth at Headingley today. Worcester are 54 for 5 after 15 overs.

I was intending to travel all the way from Sussex to Leeds to support Worcs. I'm now glad I didn't!

67 for 6 now. Yorkshire have a new quickie who looks bit good, Matthew Fisher who is only 16.
