Our midfield is once again doing very little to control the game.

We have a midfield!

Today really is a day where we need a more creative midfielder in there. Westwood's playing neatly, Delph is being energetic, but we need a player to play more intelligent passes forward. We should also have our forwards wider, because we're just allowing Wham to bunch up the way we're playing.

We need to push Gabby out to the left 2nd half, he's been utterly anonymous so far.

I really don't like Lowton, I just think he's dump.
Good going forward though. It doesn't help that both full backs are exposed.
I would have to say ok going forward.

On his day he's very good going forward. Sunderland at home last season?
One game in every 10 though....and everyone was good that game, it was a dreadful Sunderland. A good full back going forward is Zabaleta for me.

Without a doubt they are working on Lowton's clueless defensive positioning

I agree. Albrighton for Lowton. 4231 with albrighton and gabby wide.

Afternoon gentlemen.

Soooooo.......we're looking pretty awful again, then. Not exactly an advert for the Premier League, it is?

On the bright side, at least Westwood seems to be getting back into some decent form and doing what he does quite well. And Weimann and Clark are doing OK, too.

On the down side......everything else. Dreadful stuff.
