Somebody got out of bed on the wrong side today.

Do you want to see articles in the press criticising the current performance of the club or not?

I've answered that already.  Put your glasses on.

I want the media to put pressure on the club (especially Lerner), but that doesn't mean I don't cringe when I see wankers like Savage point out our disgraceful goal scoring record etc. I'm a Villa fan and I don't like it.
So you want them to, but you don't like it when they do.

Perfectly clear.

It's perfectly clear. I want the media to put pressure on the club but it still makes me cringe to read just how awful we've become.
Shit stir and twist words all you like, but thats the way it is.

I don't see any shit stirring. A slight over-reaction really.

I think we need to discuss when Lambert is likely to leave. I'm sticking with him walking out at the end of March.

I've done nothing but quote your post.

If you consider the words to have been twisted (and I fully agree it looks a bit confused) then it was all there originally.

I think what SH has to say is very reasonable actually and agree with him fully

And I also don't mind one iota if it does indeed contradict something you have said before or if it doesn't. This is a website about a football club for heaven's sake where we all change our minds, go a bit OTT at times, regret things we have said and every other bloody sin known to the average football fan. I find this holding certain people to account in such a microscopic way for things they have said/have not said/are supposed to have said in the past - and it is always the same people held to account - somewhat disturbing and I think it should stop.

How on earth do 32 people still want him to manage the club - if you were to pro-rata that to season ticket holders it would be around 2,000 people.  Bizarre.

Very easy to see what s_h means.
Being constantly reminded by the press of how shite we are and how poor Lambert's approach/record with us is upsets him...and all of us obviously.

However, s_h would like to see the press using Lambert's poor approach/record to indicate that Lambert is largely responsible for the shiteness and should go...which 91% of us seem to agree with.

I agree too.

Although I reckon those 32 people don't watch Villa week-in, week-out. Maybe the odd game on a stream or MOTD highlights. Whereas there's no way that 10% of season ticket holders that do would vote to keep him.

I don't know either. Maybe they don't think he's the main culprit of our current stagnancy. Either way, that proportion doesn't look like increasing any time soon.

*shrugs*

You can argue the points made. Or you can just run away from them without backing up your opinion.

Are they really points worth making?  At worst he's contradicting himself.  So what.  Move along, nothing to see.
