Westley has been banned so no need to keep getting digs in at him. Can we draw a line under it please.

The thing that gets me is that pretty much any other club, with anything like the awful stats Lambert has put together, would have been shot of him months ago, yet we are going to be lumbered with him, regardless of how shitly he does.

That feeling of hopelessness is horrible.

It is a tacit acceptance from above that what he is doing is OK, that where we are is OK.

We're stuck with him. I can't see any run of results so bad that he'd get the bullet. If we lost 5-0 at home to Palace and then got dumped out of the Cup by Blackpool, it still wouldn't put him under any danger.

We are the least ambitious club in this league these days.

He put together a run of 3 points from 27 available, then we beat two of the worst teams in the league, and that buys him time to put together another shit run of results, and here we are again, 2 points from the last 12, shaping up for another prolonged period of absolute hopelessness.

It is like we're stuck on this same fucking loop for another entire season.

Next season scares me. If Lambert & Lerner are still here, I imagine benteke will be long gone.

I imagine Randy thinks the worst is behind him, football doesn't work like that though does it.

I like the way Paulie posted a quality rant and then realised he still had a bit more spleen to vent so added some more bile. The threraputic qualities of H&V.

Paul is just lucky there is another five absolute shite teams that will always finish below us , the worrying thing is these rubbish teams still get more goals than us.

Yes we might survive every season but Aston villa and the fans deserve so much better.

Has Pullis gone anywhere yet?

Can't really see him going to the stripeys. If he chucked his ratty out because he didn't get the budget he wanted at Palace, I can't see him working somewhere he gets told who's coming and going by someone who's between him and the chairman.

Anyone appointing Warnock is admitting that they're already planning for next season's promotion campaign.  Has he ever lasted a full season in the top flight, other than the Tevez/West Ham v Sheffield Utd season?

Albion have been using the Director of Football/Head Coach model and if they persist, I imagine that will put Pulis off.

Pulis and Warnock are both managers I'd rather slice my face off than see managing Villa.

I have to confess Tony Pulis is my guilty managerial crush. In the same way I have a guilty crush on Stacy Solomon despite the nose, mouth and the voice.
