Tonight highlighted why wins under Lambert will only ever be fairly rare occurrences.

Sack him, utter white again. Very lucky to have that bugger up front.

And him in Goal.

Let's be fair though, his decision at half-time to switch from 4-3-1 to 8-2-0 was truly an inspired bit of tactical ingenuity

Given all supporters touchiness to the word fickle and the overwhelming feeling towards the manager I assume we showed our consistency and again chanted 'lambert out'

How was ithis received

A fantastic result and much needed maximum 3 points. Let's continue the progress by recognising  the needed support on Sunday v Leicester . Be great to see a few more regulars rocking villa in the midlands derby . many oif us woukd like to see the form and unbeaten run continues, lambert changes in place have helped. 3 matches in and I think fans can at least appreciate the effort and respect the result. Keep the faith .

Yes, but who signed those players or resigned in the case of Guzan?  Don't get me wrong I am more anti-Lambert than pro him.  But, I do find it funny when fans praise good players, and yet don't give credit to the guy who brought them to the club in the first place.

Still want him gone even if we beat Leicester & the Albion. Completely shite to watch, fluke a goal then sit back

Agree - same old, same old. Just like McLeish - mind numbingly predictable.

When it was clear Weimann had done his wrist last night, why wasn't he subbed? We played the last 5 with 10 men.

Never ever suggested all his decisions were poor. Just most of them in the last 18 months.

Fact is though we're in mid table which is plain sailing as far as Lerner is concerned. Lambert's going nowhere.

The thing is though, I don't think we sit back just to defend, we do it to try and catch teams on the break but it can be annoying to watch.

not so sure, I'm beginning to think we can only concentrate for 45 minutes and thankfully that was enough last night. The table certainly doesn't lie to Randy though - it's his bottom line, and as long as we are above the bottom three that's all that matters.
