why would he be delighted to being joined by a man he wanted out of the club and a coach his creatures were at constant loggerheads with?

He wanted Shay's £50k per week out the club. That doesn't mean they were enemies.

Let's see how this develops but I do not believe it is an isolated incident and they came as a team not individuals. I agree mr underhill why all of a sudden is Shay flavour of the month? Sid would be a natural appointment in a time of crisis and there is no doubt this is what this is.
As I said PL 's in his final days.

I hope he is here next season as it means we're staying up and hopefully with better coaching, we can play the way most of us expected after seeing Norwich under him.

Omnishambles.

Is that the name of the bus you catch to get to York?

There are buses that go to York? Why?
The Shambles is an historic street in York, as the Archbishop well knows.

I thought they were very over rated under him.

I don't think its a shambles. If two people have done something so serious that they need suspending, then what is the club meant to do?

Sounds like suspicion of Gross Misconduct if suspended. Wonder who will lead the investigation ? Faulkner ? Who is head of HR ?

That bloke prosecuting pistorius will be leading the investigation once he's done in South Africa.

I hope so, it should be televised as well.

Hopefully the players will play better and with more freedom now the more supportive Sid is there instead of Tweedle-arse and Tweedle-hole. However, if they play badly and lose again to Southampton, with the same old poor tactics and play, there could still be a Bolton moment against Lambert. We will find out whether his good ideas were badly implemented or his ideas were bad in the first place. Frankly, this sounds disciplinary rather than tactical and he's had these coaches and these tactics at four clubs now, so I'm not totally expectant of change.

Surely as manager he picks the team and formation and plays a winger (MA) is a complete waste on the turf at VP, we have a big pitch, use it.
