Loyalty. It's about time Lerner and Lambert paid us back as well. We've been unbelievably patient considering the shit served up.

I can't recall a season where the crowds have held up with the football being as poor as this before. Then again, it is very rare that it has been this poor.  Credit to those responsible for selling tickets.

More like credit to the poor buggers who buy them.

I couldn't believe today's announced crowd. I didn't think there was more than 32k there

It's not just 'bums on seats'. The announced figure takes into account all tickets sold, regardless of whether they were actually in attendance.

They must be doing a good job marketing the tickets as the performances on the pitch aren't likely to be drawing people down there.

The crowd figure includes season ticket holders like myself.
I'm sure looking at the empty seats around the ground a lot of
Them aren't actually at the game.
West Ham like a lot of other teams this season sold the full allocation, buoying the attendance, and who could blame them as it's a racing certainty that it will be their best chance of 3 points away from home all season, and so it proved to be.
This is easily the hardest season we have had to endure at home for decades and it's becoming harder to motivate myself to go as it's akin to watching someone torture a loved one while you stand helplessly on the sidelines unable to help.
It hurts!

I know that the gate includes season ticket holders but there can't be more than 22000 of them, plus 3000 away fans so there are still about another 10000 turning up. This is unprecedented.

Can you just imagine what attendances would be if we managed some half decent signings and football worth watching?

I thought both Lerner and Faulkner were supposed to be astute businessmen...

My brother inadvertently converted 50 Chinese foreign exchange students into West Ham fans today.

It's a mess at the moment. This 10th position people have been going on about in the last 2 months seems somewhat false. We've won 2 of our last 11 games now and lost 7 of those, drawing the other 2. That's relegation form. For all that some people seem satisfied we're a better side this season and on the up, the fact is our form since November has been really poor again. We're right in the mire again.

For me Lerner is a big problem of course, but just as big is the fact that Lambert is absolutely clueless. The guy never learns and tactically is even worse than McLeish.

Poor results, poor football, a lot of very poor acquisitions (in part Randy's fault granted, but Lambert takes a lot of the blame).

Not good enough for this club. Not even close and he never will be. This project is bollocks and will only take us in one direction. If not this season, then next season.

New contract? Pfft! Pull the fucking other one Randolph.
