I'm not employed at the moment, though busy with a bit of DIY.

Today I have built a brick fireplace, as opposed to spending the whole day w*n*ing which is what most of you perverted fu**ers were thinking.

Is Phil Brown/Paul Jewell/Tony Pulis a better punt?

Whenever I hear Tony Pulis mentioned, I picture him as Beansy from Tony Soprano's mob.

Whenever I hear Phil Brown mentioned, I think of that cringey singing on the pitch, and that half time team talk.

Whenever I hear Paul Jewell mentioned, I remember that horrific picture in one of the tabloids of his sex face while he backscuttled his bit on the side (while manfully keeping his t-shirt on).

So, you picture, think and remember all the others!

After our special, stolen moments together, paulie, you never picture, think or remember me!

Do you have a heart?
A pet rabbit?

;-)
On thread, he needs to be gone before Christmas if no signs of "progress".

I've always been of the mindset that any incoming manager needs to understand the Club, because of our huge history. Based on this theory, I keep going back to giving the job to The Current England Under 21 Manager, and the Current Tottenham U21 head coach....Gareth Southgate and Ugo Ehiogu.

Southgate's U21's have looked impressive of late, and he's clearly come along way since his Middlesbrough disaster.

Well, maybe.
Lambert actually seems to 'get' the club hiistory thing.
And, the "huge history" can also be a burden to a manager.

What we need is a manager who is capable of 'cleaning the Augean Stables': there appears to be a herculean task at VP to change the climate of mediocrity, to put some fire in the bellies of the playing / coaching staff, to develop and then live a complete footballing philosophy, to bring in some coaching staff that will reshape the playing style to what is required in the modern game, to reinvigorate the youth academy system ....

Contrary to our aspirations in 2006, we have stagnated badly.

Quite a nice feeling today to wake up knowing we aren't going to lose or break any records today.
