It's also insane, because a sure way to lose more money by driving down the potential transfer price is by dumping them in the middle of nowhere.

Lambert is on record saying that the only reason Hutton is not in contention is because of his high wages. It doesn't take a genius to work out it's the reason why all the other 'bomb squad' players are put on their ear.

That's a good point, I'd actually forgotten that Lambert had come out and confirmed this himself.

He occasionally drops little hints like this that are actually little clues to what the real problems at Villa are.

I must try that approach in my firm, tell our highest paid employees not to come to work because they earn too much, but carry on paying them regardless.

So rumours now spreading that Albrighton is in the bomb squad. Supposedly fell out with Lambert on Saturday and got the train home from London. Bizarre if true.

Couldn't he fall out with Baker and Holt? Only way to get them out of the team, it seems.

There was a rumour going around lately that he's been told he won't be getting a new deal and to look for a new club.

He's been pretty good since he came back from loan so madness he hasn't been starting much.

Albrighton deserves a new contract. It's Lambert who doesn't.

Marc is Villa through and through and also our best performer (since Wigan gave him an insight into how to perform at his best ) Fuck Lambert off for God's sake and his cohort Shitehouse. Ian Taylor had a go on saturday to, he loves the Villa and has a great insight into what's going on ,we can't afford to wait till the end of the season, it will be too late then.

Albrighton deserves to be in the side. Not playing him says it all at the moment. Mind you not doubling up on Palaces wingers was pretty stupid.

Albrighton, while an average winger, has been the only creative spark in the team for the last few weeks...the bomb squad will need their own training ground at this rate!

If that's true about Albrighton, who did more in 9 minutes than most of his team mates did in 90, then it's the final straw for me. As CBB has stated interesting that Ian Taylor has sounded off about our performance; Collymore, who writes in the match programme, has as well! The whole Club seems to be falling apart.

Is there a good reason to think this is actually true?

(like a twitter feed from a local journo etc).

If he's not on the bench next game fair enough, but tbh I'm thinking its bollocks.
