Who says I am happy with the result? A the end of the day, we used the ball better than them, opened them up with gilt edged chances that a £20 million striker should bury.

You keep going on about the Benteke chances. What about the amateur defending that cost us all four goals?

We have conceded 4 goals to a team in such a deep crisis that lost 6 home games in the season, and that their fans made a plane  to fly over the pitch in order to express their disappointment, that is unusual for England. Even an average team could win today. And we lost with 4 goals!

We are a below average team though.

Well not really because we'd be bottom if we were.

I don't think it's worth carrying on the discussion.

We're one of the worst without a shadow of a doubt.
It's mind boggling to think Paul Lambert is still in a job. I think it just goes to show the real lack of ambition Randy Lerner has in Aston Villa.

so  we lost 4-1   against an average team  who cardiff got a result off  and got hammered by Stoke  yes stoke the game before

too many excuses

If we had not beaten City, Arsenal and Chelsea, that was beautiful but unexpected, for the way we played the rest of the games, the ordinary games, we would have just been relegated.

If we hadn't won all the games we have won and had in fact lost them all, then I am certain we would be relegated.

On that basis, we are the worst side in the league, having hypothetically lost all the games we have won, therefore Lambert out.
