I would venture to guess that mental breakdown is an ever present danger in present day football.   I always thought that Fergie would go off his trolley but the colour of his complexion and his eyeballs seems to indicate he found an effective anaesthesia,
Blusher and contact lenses?

Certainly was weird behaviour from Pearson yesterday, but the overriding feature seemed to be a desire to show how hard he is.

I don't think Lambert's capable of mental collapse.

Pearson gone then apparently, still Lambert inexplicably goes on.

And guess who's favourite to succeed him!

Neil Lennon according to Oddschecker at the moment. But yes, O'Neill is right behind him. Can't see him going for it though.

I'd guess it'll be a former player at a lower league club, like Lennon. Simon Grayson? Paul Dickov?

In his albeit subconscious mind, I think Lambert is already on a beach counting his compo.

Pubehead returns to Leicester, watches us smash them in the Cup, relegates them, is in the studio as a pundit as we lift the FA Cup =

He's probably as surprised as the rest of us that he's still there.

So Leicester and QPR are looking for new managers, Palace have already done so and shot up the table as a result, the Baggies replaced theirs and his record's not too shabby at keeping crap teams away from relegation and Hull probably will be looking for a new manager in the very near future.

Putting Burnley aside (as I don't think they can afford to sack Dyche), why do Randy and Tom Fox think they're right and everyone else is wrong?!

I fear that Lerner and Fox believe continuity will bring success, but it won't.

All 3 sides relegated last season changed their manager. It doesn't always work.

Based on nothing more than Lerner's experience of Lambert x 2 seasons + 1 season of McLeish doing just enough to crawl over the line, without considering the possibility that if you keep playing chicken, sooner or later you're going to get hit.

"continuity" sounds like a really positive, simple, "successful" concept.
"continuity" of shite only continues to deliver shite.

Of course it doesn't.  But when something isn't working only a madman carries on doing the same thing expecting a different result.
