He's dropped Okore again.

Or he might have been rested or simply rotated. You do know that it doesn't have to be negative

It probably is, though.

Come either January or May, Vlaar isn't going to be here. Okore, whose season only started a few weeks ago, will be fresher than most and has done well.

Some reward.

I don't get Lambert, always so happy to resort to the same old shit again - ie N'Zogbia starting.

I can't slate him if okore needs a rest, n'zogbia however... Unless he can magically predict this is his 1 in a season good game, he should not be anywhere near the first team

Completely agree. Can anyone remember the last time that N'Zogbia contributed anything of note as an Aston Villa player? Surely it'd be better to start Grealish or even Robinson, or even Bacuna than a player who seems to lose the ball every single time that he gets it on current form.

Regarding Okore we don't know so no point making a definitive comment. He didn't have a great game at Swansea and maybe he just needs a rest having played 2 days ago. It's all guesswork.

Jores had a disappointing game against Swansea. He was all over the place. I think playing again 2 days later is a bit much. It's the call I'd have made too to be honest.
Ron needs games and Clark has been solid.
I would imagine Okore will be back soon enough though as Clark will undoubtedly need a rest at some point, and Candy floss Ron will also probably get injured.

As Lambert's football is constipated I suggest he gets off the pot and let somebody else have a go. He really is way, way out of his depth and today was just another example of how bad he is. We can give him all the time in the world and he still won't get it.

Please, Paul. Do the honourable thing and resign.

Today was another example of his useless management.

He starts Nzogbia, every body else can see that CNZ is of absoloutely no help to the team, I can see it every body else can see it.

The most predictable team selection followed by another predictable first half.

I think there's some logic for dropping Okore for this given his cruciate ligament injury and it being the first time he might have played 90 minutes in 2 days. Clark went down the touchline so he must have a knock. Hopefully nothing serious, he's been quality since he came back into the team.

There's enough things to get frustrated with Lambert for without looking for them.

Sure the excuse will be made that Delph let him down, he is responsible for the behaviour of his players!

That was a training match for Sunderland...beyond Sanchez & the cameo for Grealish that team was cruising.

Another corner turned, only to be confronted by another cul-de-sac populated by dustbins, old chip wrappers and the odd dead rat.

I hate that Lambert is our manager, I absolutely hate it. If Lerner wants to keep him that's fine but he should be paying fans to watch the games, not the other way around. He should be racked with guilt that people are spending their hard earned money week after week to watch this garbage but he obviously doesn't give a shit.

If it were, they might have wanted to try and think about winning the damn thing then.
