Baker has been ruled out of the game according to kendrick.

Baker has been ruled out of the game according to every media outlet I've read this evening.

Maybe so , but the pre match thread wasn't open at the time he tweeted it.

Kendrick tweeted that the H&V pre-match hadn't been opened yet ?

Haha - I meant I couldn't post it at the time as when I looked the thread wasn't open - was not aware posters could start the pre match thread as its normally stickied- sorry for any misunderstanding.

See the Arsenal one - was five pages long before it was stickied.

Start a thread whenever one is worth starting.

Anyone can do it. It used to be my little pet project but after our recent run of results, superstitious claptrap has come into play on my part. In future, start it up and it will be stickied.

Good analysis of us from a Liverpool website.

I really wish I hadn't read it. Can't really fault it which is the problem. The truth hurts.

If any old poster is to start a match thread I expect to see a proper thread title with capital letters and the name Aston Villa, not just Villa. Furthermore I do not give a shit what people are fucking tweeting.

I started one a couple of weeks ago and i just put Villa. It was soon corrected though. My bad (as the kids say).

Oh and agree on your second point.

ManU game aside I've predicted us to win or draw every game so far this season, because I am an eternal optimist and I think we've been playing well below our true capabilities since probably the Newcastle game.

That said, I think this one will be:

Liverpool 3 (Buck Toothed Racist Footballing Marvel)
Villa 1 (Tiny Eared Belgian Collossus)

Doesn't it just.

Very well written stuff, and as well as some truly shocking statistics regarding us, a very good interpretation of them.

I hope we don't go on playing like this for much longer.

It's eye-wateringly horrible to watch, I don't care if it works well enough to keep us mid table, we'll be well on the way to becoming the new Stoke if it goes on the rest of the season.
