Whatever happened to that shed bloke who got upset about Ossie Ardiles leaving for Spurs and threatened to drive down the motorway and blow up all of Alan Sugar's computers?  ;D

Presumably after being weeded out of the final selection process for The Apprentice.

Alardyce has failed to improve them in any way whatsoever.  Pleased with that

He's got a big decision to make in the next couple of months.  If he takes them down, his reputation as a 'troubleshooter' will be gone, probably with his hopes of getting a top flight gig again unless he storms the Championship.  Can see him bailing before that time comes.

They're not going to sack him then?

I can see him staying and trying to get them promoted. But only because I imagine his other options are so limited.

A) Back to talksport, and having to actually converse with Sam Matterface..
B) Pints of wine and talking into a tape recorder for the ghost written autobiography
C) Column in daily star
D) Third wheel to Keys and Gray in the desert

Pearson's too good for them though if Watford don't get promoted he may be tempted just to piss them off.

Allardyce has not been relegated in any of his previous eight Premier League jobs. It would be funny if the 'survival expert' finally failed whilst at Albion. The Wolves fans could call him Agent Allardyce.

Given some of his past dealings, I doubt he will be walking away from a guaranteed payout.

To walk away early, leaving a struggling club in the lurch, would destroy his reputation, surely?

You must be joking. Alehouse football, moaning about refs constantly, claiming he wasn't considered a managerial genius because of his nationality and his antics a England manager haven't, so selling a two bit outfit like Sandwell down the river is hardly going to make any difference.

Plus he can always state he still hasn’t took a club down and he left them in the same position in the table from when he started.

Did he ever actually bother clearing his name?

I remember the BBC accusing him of dodgy deals at Bolton, his son was an agent.
Then a few years after that Ravel Morrison and Jermaine Pennant accused him of being a bit dodgy.
