Not entirely surprising. He was born in Dudley. My accent gets stronger when I come home.

Albion and Arsenal are on telly at eight tonight. Appropriately both clubs are occupying the old traditional time  of The Two Ronnies comedy slot. By the end of the season it could be good night from both of them.

It isn't a good sign when Allardyce is heard on the touchline shouting at his players "Don't stand still, move"!

We play them again with 6 games left, be nice to send them down. Shame it may still just be a bit too early to have 40,000 there to witness it.

Wonder if the fans who wanted Allardyce to replace Smith still feel the same?

39 conceded in 17 is pretty careless and under Fat Sams direction they are springing even more leaks.
I think they could beat Derby who hold the premier record of 89 conceded for a 38 game season in 2007/08.
Got to go some to beat the all time record of 125 Blackpool in 1930/31.
That Villa scored the all time record of 128 and Blackpool didn't even go down, Man U and Leeds got relegated !

When you see their team sheet before kick off they do not look impressive on paper. Then they go out and look even less impressive on grass.

Not like Sam to jump on a bandwagon to deflect - is that Covid break & Brexit at fault in less than a week?  No way he finishes season there
