It is utterly incredible that there is any question whatsoever about Villa beating Palace at home. Yet, there is very good cause for such doubt. How low do we go before we protest against owner and manager? They do not even have to do very much, but seem so complacent.

I had a similar conversation today with a friend. It's like we have accepted we are at a Fulham type level.

At least Kozak should be brimming with confidence ?

He should be brimming with self-confidence. Pity he is going to look around him and wonder what on Earth he has left Lazio for.

Lazio have one more point than us from the same amount of games in a worse league. I think he made the right choice.

Bannon got subbed at half time against the Geordies apart from a couple of decent crosses he was as he always is inaffective, may not get a spot against us. If Ron was back i would say a decent win, without him a draw.

This will be a nerve shredding affair but I think we will win 2-1 after Palace scoring first

If this was away I'd fancy it more.

I think we'll struggle to beat them. I can see Kozak scoring. But anyone else? Not at the moment. We're all over the place defensively too. I'm also expecting the former player curse to strike too, with Bannan wanting to poke us in the eye. Likewise Routledge the next game.

I think it'll be a draw. And we'll follow up with a loss against Swansea.

1-1
Kozak
Chamakh (probably from a BB corner).

Can't wait. Turkey farts and Bannan corners to watch again. Should make a DVD.
