Players Out:
Vlaar
Okore
Bennett
N'Zog
Agbonlahor
Benteke

Sorry, just needed to write that out to try and feel a bit better about the team being put out today. Not really worked...

So, what's the craic with Benteke? Has he been told to go away and have a serious chat with himself?

Guzan, lowton, baker, Clark, herd, Westwood, Delph, tonev, weimann, Albrighton and Kozak
Is that the worst Villa line up since the Turner era?

Yep.  Started going around then  and can't recall seeing a weaker Villa team.  The team we had in Division Two was stronger than that line up.

he's likely been told not to push it and come back when he's healthier.

I just hope we don't park the bus again and sit there hoping for a point like at West Ham.

What should on paper be the most boring game of the day will probably be a cracker.

Apparently he's been carrying knocks. Which would certainly tie in to how short of pace he's looked since coming back from injuries. He's looked 2 yards short of last season and hasn't really shown the willingness to really run at defenders. He's definitely been holding back.

I'm not worried that kea and Luna  are on the bench - both poor recently - nice to see Lowton back again at right back but thought bacuna may play rather than tonev - I think Kozak will score today but am worried about our defence against crouch . Hard game to predict this one - anything could happen - fingers crossed it goes our way .

I think he's one of the most average midfielders we've ever had. Even some of our worse midfielders at least had some kind of presence in a game to remind you they were playing.
