First the gas towers, now the library. What next? Sherlock Street in claret and blue?

Some choice arguments from blues fans on the internet:

Their fans comprise two thirds of the city's population.

All 500,000 blues fans should vote out the current council at the next round of elections.

Absolutely delusional, and they're bad at maths.

For a club that's never had anything worth having, ever, they're the most spoilt brat fans on the planet... but only when it concerns us.

Just think if the boot was on the other foot.

The library's actual default colours are theirs though. It has been in their colours since it opened. In a fortnight it will return to their colours. I will admit to a passing thought as I drove past it that it'd be better if it wasn't in Blues colours, but did I take to twitter or the letters page of The Evening Mail to express my outrage?

The libary's default colours are Wolves' though.

I love it when they say that. We're all out-of-towners apparently, but they never mention that their core support resides in leafy Solihull.

Very true. I like to remind them that there were Villa fans in Birmingham before their club was even formed. That line usually gets the frothing at the mouth.

" what's a library, son?"

"It's a bit like St Andrews, mom, only noisier"

I like that, another one for the already huge arsenal.
