Also, the midfield contains two identical players really. Westwood and KEA. One of them is fine, not both of them,

January can't come quickly enough

When everyone will strengthen except for us?
Ooooh I dunno, we might buy 3 19yr olds from League 1 if we're lucky

Can we have Benteke play ourselves next?

Don't worry, he will soon.

Sadly this is my thinking. We're buying hopeful punts for the most part.
We're now seeing what happens when the luck we've been having runs out. Mid-table as piss poorly as we've been playing was a false position. You only have to look at West Brom to see how quickly you can slide in this league.

Luna, Lowton and Baker all cannot defend.

Lets not get carried away with this mid table talk- Albion were above us 3 weeks ago and are now  just above relegation zone - the bottom half is very tight and easy to get sucked into trouble.

I wouldn't say this is anything to do with Lambert...individual errors

They're both fucking crap, how are players of this standard playing for Aston Villa? We are Villa for fucks sake not Wigan, why have we been signing nothing players from Crewe for buttons? Complete joke.

Piss poor. Game over. Baker is shite. Lunas positioning is horrific. Not good enough I'm afraid. We might have started the day 3 points behind Utd, but the reality is we're a hell of a long way behind them.

No shit sherlock FFS!
Elementary my dear Watson.

That was my polite way of saying we're Championship quality.

The current back line is. Luna and Baker, are poor, and with doubt Clark and Lowton are only capable with better players with them.

Beyond that we need a couple of players that bring up the levels of the others. Benteke did it last season. We need that magic that makes the others lives easier. Individually they are not bad footballers, but the sum is not good enough.

The inevitability is so ball-achingly boring, I shouldn't get annoyed by it. But I do. There's always that annoying bit of hope that is so hard to eradicate.
