I wish Merson would give his brain cell a rest.

Lambert said 'baker will have to move one over'. That sounds like herd at cb with Clark and baker at lb.

Need to get on the front foot here I think. You could argue we've none of our first choice defenders playing.

A very weak defence today. This could give Fulham a chance to stop their bad run.

I agree mate, though Clark has done well this year. Can't defend for 4 people though. Let's hope Vlaar is back soon.

I like Herd but am mystified by the Lowton freeze-out.

I hope herd doesn't do any of his rash challenges.

We need to make energy count here. They've got some fairly old players down the spine of their team.

Sadly it means a comfortable 2-0 win for them with us looking pathetic.

I like Herd but am mystified by the Lowton freeze-out.

Well he himself has admitted his bad lack of form and within minutes of him coming on last week we had conceded a goal due to him. Not too much to be mystified about tbh.

Herd isn't maybe technically the greatest, but he has bags of energy and will also be able to run with the ball and bring it out of defence if we need to try and hold on to possession.

Slapheaded Fulham defender should have had a yellow for that tackle on Benteke.
