Two well taken goals and some uncharacteristic mistakes but we've fucking asked for this with the team we put out.

Villa have passed backwards more than any forward, just relying on long high balls which the baggies defenders are winning each time. The defence is looking terrible. We could be on a bad trouncing here, Long looks on top form

So first Tonev does what he allways does has a useless shot when he should pas and then we are 2 0 down.

Bacuna fucked up but at least he can play Tonev is useless.

You know that strong bench, Lambert? With Lowton, Gabby and Weimann? How about bringing them on and doing something about this shambolic display?

goal 1 - Baker asleep

goal 2 - Bacuna suicide, Baker weak again, Guzan ponderous

Quote
Villa manager Paul Lambert: "We played well last time out against Cardiff. We've got a few from the injury room back so the team picked itself. Any derby game you play, it doesn't really matter what form you're in. The away support for us is fantastic and this will be a good atmosphere. If we play with our brains hopefully we will win."

Can't remember the last time we did, and today is no exception.

Fortunately we have absolutely no goals from midfield to help us out.

No movement. No width. Backwards passing. No drive or energy. All too easy for them. We're making Long look world class here and he's really not. I think we're on for a hammering unless Lambert acts quickly.

The lineup was a big gamble that has blown up in Lamberts face unfortunately. The squad players aren't good enough to leave Weimann, Gabby and Delph on the bench for. The game could be over by the time they appear though.....

Baker and our midfield are completely pointless.

Thought it was lunacy that Olbiyun were seriously thinking about selling Long for £5 million.

Long for £5 million or Kozak for £7 million?  Tough one.
