Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Baker, El Ahmadi, Westwood, Sylla, Tonev, Benteke, Kozak

Hmm, this could be Tonev's breakout game. Hope so!

Not keen on the team. No counter attacking skills and that's why we have an impressive away record. Let's just hope we're not buried before we put the subs on.

Disappointed (worried?) no Delph or Gabby. Also thought he would have gone with Lowton at the back and Bacuna in midfield. Feeling less confident with that line up

Agreed on the latter point there, CJ, that seems the most salient. We all understand about player fitness and not rushing them back and all that stuff, but we were demonstrably improved in the last match by bringing Lowton on at the back and allowing Bacuna to go forwards.

Lowton in for kea with Bacuna in midfield I thought was a given :-(

Me too, but lets hope these players do the job.

If they're good enough for the bench then start them even if it's only for 60 mins.

Can't risk starting with 2 or 3 players who may only last an hour.

against the risk of that team not being good enough and needing the same 2-3 players to drag us out the mire in the final 30?

Hmmm, that team does not signify a good start to my evening!

Tonev is either gonna smash one in the top corner or hit one of their fans in the face. It's a win/win situation.

Would have liked Delph to start but otherwise ok with that.

I'm invoking the law of averages as regards Tonev.

I wouldn't risk 2 or 3 but would Delph - he is vital to our midfield.
