Press-ed for goals

Though I say it myself, I'm in a rich vein of headline-writing form.

Spot on Dave.  5 defenders and 3 sitting midfielders against a team who had no recognised forward.

To be honest, I thought he did the right thing playing 5 at the back. From what I saw of the 2nd half, West Ham always had two or three in the box when they were attacking so at times you could'nt tell that they were playing without any strikers. If Gabby had been fit, he might have made a difference on the break instead of Weimann.

Good article and title Dave though the thread headline could have been more apposite possibly using 'Hard press-ed for Goals'. Hope you don't have to refer to that sort of derivative of the word press-ed again and we start banging them in, especially against Cardiff.

We attacked Everton and had the strikers not missed good chances then we would not have lost. I hope Lambert doesn't abandon attacking and go back to counter attacking because of that one result.

I just worry about how many puns with the word ''press'' are still out there in the wild.
