Far too easy to score against us he needs fucking shooting for his defensive signings

Luna
Bennett
Lowton
Vlaar

All of them have at least 1 glaring fault in them defensively.

Vlaar and Lowton are fine, no?

No, Vlaar might make a decent 2nd Centre half but there's no way on Earth he's the commanding main man. His leap is shit and positioning. Lowton is great going forward at times but lets crosses come in to easy and loses his man too often.

Vlaar has been very good this year, it's Baker's positioning that's the problem.

Vlaar has been ok, clearly our standards have dropped massively if this guy is considered very good. Oh for the days of a Teale, Mcgrath, Ehiogu, Nielsen, Southgate, Mellberg Laursen.

Good stop that.

Westwood has been better today in open play than for a while for me in fairness.

Westwood - Sylla ..Westy looks off the pace and and lacking confidence
Kozak -Benteke ..Kozak not holding up the ball and well Benteke is clearly a better player

Agree, nothing to be afraid of - if we have a go at them we can get a result here , benteke and sylla on for me at half time and lets have a real go .

Well at the risk of getting run out of here for being overly optimistic, I think we can count ourselves bloody unlucky to be behind at half time.  Reckon we can get something from this.

It was a really poor half from both teams and they got lucky, but Baker is not a top level centre half. We need a much better and more lively second half display.

I watched the first half without coming on to this thread, because it's non-stop moaning (me included normally)

I thought we played pretty well to be honest. Restricted their chances really. Created some decent-ish chances. Being let down a bit by Kozak.

Delph again the pick. Outstanding at the moment. Westwood much better.

Spurs have played us off the park several times in the last few years. They absolutely haven't today. So disappointing to be behind to a bit of a freak goal.
