I have a very bad feeling about this.  I fear Spudface will be attempting to contort his face into something approaching a smile at quarter to five today.

Any news as to whether Coach 9 has been hit by an asteroid, caught up in an alien tractor beam or attacked by the Humber version of Godzilla ?
Is Legion on that one ?

The pre match pessimism before man city I can understand , but this is an inexperienced hull city we are playing and I am surprised so many lack confidence in our team today .

Come 5pm we will be celebrating our return to the top 6 i firmly believe .

You know how we haven't drawn this season yet? Well, today's game looks like the perfect way to return to this venerable Villa tradition.

Win today and draw with spurs will satisfy me .

Really surprised this week by the number of posters predicting a draw or defeat here - this in one of those games where we should be looking to take 3 points away from home along with the likes of palace, Norwich etc .

I would be disappointed with a draw - we should win at places like hull and I believe we will do so.

My sentiments echoed. Away from home, we should fear no-one. Least of all the likes of these. We're Aston Villa, ffs. Bollocks to possession stats and all that inconsequential periphery on days like today, goals win games, and we will score more than them. An away win is fully anticipated by this household.

Fancy us for this one.  Back to 4-3-3, invite them on to us and then hit them on the break.  3-1 Villa win for me.

On the basis that my predictions aren't right that often, I've gone for a draw. Whilst realising that does include the possibility of a Hull win, that's not the spirit in which my prediction was made.

No doubt Hull can win this game but they won't.

Beat Hull, beat Spurs.

Agree. Our first team has shown it is capable of winning both games.
