I had a lady sitting next to me on Saturday. It occurred to me that the last time I had a lady sitting to my right was when we played QPR last season. A good omen? Nah, surely not, I thought. But lo and behold we won - by exactly the same score.

The part of him that was level with the last defender was the foot he used to score the goal. Therefore under current rules that makes him onside by my estimation.Nope, if any part of your body that you can score from is offside, you're offside. Doesn't matter if you use that sort or not. I'm nit complaining, but that's the rule.

I was away this weekend in Edinburgh with a bunch of mates that are mainly Small Heath fans. It cost me a round of Baileys over ice for 15 people, which I gladly payed just to wind them up and have 'em toasting the Villa!
