To be honest it would help us build something if we didn't piss and moan every time a better team is better than us.
Yep,we have only had 3 years to get rid of our moaning. What else have we got? I think the PL has got off lightly so far,but he has had more than enough time to sort out our shite defence.

Why are we comparing ourselves to a Spurs squad that have spent about £90 million on players this summer alone? Different agendas, different time scales.
Given the team we had out, did anyone really expect any different?

It's surely not unreasonable to expect the team to give it a go. The trouble is, Spurs aren't even having to play well. They're not even out of first gear. We look shit, but it's not because of Spurs, it's because our players aren't passing and moving well enough, and that's not just down to the quality of the opposition.

We can but it takes time!! Look at Swansea. Over time they have had a consistent plan. We have to stick by Lambert over time to build the same.

Brilliant. If there's one thing I can't wait for, it's when Aston Villa becomes the next Swansea.

I was about to write that one plus point is that I'm warming to Mark Albrighton again ... and then he reminds me why he's the scarecrow from Wizard of Oz.

Our players and way we play do remind me of a mid table championship team.

I still think back to leading 4-1 at their place and then shake my head at the direction that each club has since taken.

We are boring to watch in all fairness. Only Albrighton has a bit of unpredictability to him...and little end product. I'd love to see us get a scrappy goal, then equalise....

Strange to loan out tricky players like Grealish and Carruthers, yet retain Bowery...
