Good to see we can still win without the beast.

If it's only his hip flexor, he can get another one from QVC. It will be at Villa Park by Tuesday haha

Hip flexor is one of those things that hurts a lot at the time but generally nothing long term. He'll be out for Spurs but should be ok for the weekend with a good week of treatment.

Delighted with the three points, hope Benteke hasn't got a bad injury.

At least next week I won't have to listen to people harping on about the last time we kept a clean sheet.

KEA had a really good game today.

Yes he did. A vast improvement on last week.

The 2nd half was torture to watch, I couldn't quite believe we held on. Against better than Norwich we would have been battered as our retention of the ball is woeful. Tonev should have been off at half time. He's clearly not up to the pace of this league. Luna was quite good going forward but poor denfincevly. KEA. Vlaar, Clark and Guzan played well as did Gabby while he was out there.

Can't afford Benteke being out longer than a game really.
I hope that's not £40m injury!

How can you give a pen for handball when Clark's arm was down his side? A bit of consistency please, Refs.

Tonev needs to massively change his game, he can't shoot all the time.

He was horrific!
Every time we had a good counter and he got the ball, he just ended it with a selfish idiotic kick in the general direction of goal.
Needs to go be made to watch re-runs of the game until his brainpattern changes...

Fine result, a welcome clean sheet and some lovely football in patches.

My worry is that Norwich were pretty crap yet opened us up at will, a better team would have scoed a hatful.

Still, a welcome result.

Great result and a clean sheet, not a great game but 3 points is all that matters and fingers crossed the injuries are nothing too serious. That was never a penalty so great to have a bit of karma on our side, and Guzan who deserves all the plaudits today, what a performance in goal. In fact it was decent defensively all round, Clark and Vlaar looked good together and Bacuna really put himself about well, Luna looked a bit out of sorts but I still rate him higher than Bennett. My main issue today was when we could have countered or held on to the ball after good defending we ended up giving it away and inviting pressure. Still, lots of positives and good for Kozak to score on his debut, good lad.

Roll on Spuds on Tuesday.

great to see Kozak pointing to where he wanted the ball in the build up for the goal, makes the midfielders work a lot easier

a good omen I think
