I wouldn't. Newcastle fans acted like dicks before, after, and during the game.
Ok apologies, I must have missed that.

If i was a Geordie i would ask this question.
Why is your home form so incredibly shit ?

As a Villa fan I would ask this question:
Why is our home form so incredibly shit ?
Spot on.

As i've said I don't condone what happened, but you act like they did and it is going to piss off the wrong person/people.

An element of their supporters acted, as they do every year, like arseholes. The strange thing is that when they do it, it's great support. When Manchester United supporters do exactly the same it's disgraceful arrogance.

An element of fans always act like Arseholes especially when on the road and on the beer. A coach load banged windows and flicked us the V's wow.
Throwing house bricks at coaches is a different matter.
Would you like that aimed at you when we go to St James ??
99% of their support yesterday was superb and denying that is I'd suggest a bit of sour grapes.

I'm sure that every single Newcastle supporter you saw outside the ground behaved perfectly.

Funny because me, Leeg and Dave were talking before the game about what utter twats some of their fans were acting like. Maybe we could see into the future and were getting the sour grapes in early?

I'm guessing you didn't spend much time on the coach route to VP or on Witton Lane before the game? I did, for 2 hours. I was also in the Lower North and could see the goading they were doing, including running at R1 both in the stand and across the pitch. So i'll base my view on what I witnessed thanks.

Fine, not going to argue with you. Walked from Holborn Hill all the way down Witton lane from about 225pm to 250pm and saw very little trouble.

Do you think the initial poster on this thread was actually Joe Kinnear and we basically assisted in him masterminding the victory over us? Just a thought.  ;)

Also thoroughly unimpressed by Newcastle fans.

I know they've got a bit of an axe to grind with us, which is fair enough (you give it, you take it) but every other song was a comment on our support, and also I have never seen a set of fans more concerned with goading the home fans than watching the game or supporting their team.

Also walking down Witton Lane before the match a lot of the Geordies were pissed up, arrogant and borish. They encapsulated everything that is wrong with the average football fan.

Agree entirely. Walked from Witton Island to the Holte at 2.50 ish and there were loads of them gobbing off. By the Holte steps there were about 10 of them singing at / goading Villa fans whilst walking alongside a small police escort. One of them looked about 13 years old, and every time he shouted at the Villa fans with his arms outstreched he nearly fell over, he was that pissed. Similar after the game. I know our fans sometimes don't cover themselves in glory, but I was cringing at their support.

I drove down with my brother, from the North East, and when we stopped at Woodall Services, it was full of Newcastle fans, and my brother commented on how young they all were (between 14 & 18). It was the same when we walked up to the ground from the Ads, before kick off. Two coaches passed us, and it was all young lads banging on the windows. I said to our kid, something along the lines of, "I remember when I had my first pint too".
