Is Andreas Steiber a brother of Zoltan who used to be on our books? Memory might be playing tricks but I seem to recall him and Albrighton ripping it up for the reserves on either wing.

That Stieber inclusion is pretty baffling considering he's apparently been a fringe youth cup player & hes in ahead of the likes of Gardner, Domacien and Grealish

None of those three need to be named. I don't think Stieber will be playing ahead of any of them.

I'm guessing it's just that there was nobody else apart from Hutton, so he may as well have be in ahead of an empty space.

I hadn't realised he's nearly 22 but as you say it was probably just that we had someone just old enough to need to be named and a spare place.

this and i think it is against the rules to name an under 21 year old to forfil your home grown quota, otherwise you would just name 17/18 year old nobodys and pay them a small retainer to do nothing all there career other than fill the quota. so by default he is in andkeeps our home grown quota up. personally i dont have a problem with it, given will probably go on an emergancy loan or lower league loan and that will leave 3 keepers still

Delfouneso can't be considered then when he returns from his loan (albeit there will only be 2/3 months of the season remaining).

You have to resubmit at the end of Jan and there is scope at the point to add and remove a small number outside transfers in and out, so there's no point putting the fonz on now.

The 17 overseas limit is too high. There should be a 5 year plan for clubs to go down to 10.

Think we knew they were all out of the picture based on their squad numbers (all in the late 30s). N'Zogbia could still offer something I think, maybe Given and Hutton will go out on loan?

I think they stopped on Monday's deadline but the window reopens for the very loosely named 'emergency loans' very soon.
