Polly's on.

Guess which team's she talking about?

They're obsessed!

She’s had her stopwatch out & Villa fans get longer on the phone than anyone else apparently

Are you sure it wasn't her pacemaker and not her stopwatch?
She's a seriously bitter obsessed old bag. She really does my nut in. I mean her jealousy and her hatred of the Villa can be clearly heard in her voice. Imagine having 80+ years of bottled up bitterness eating away at you?

I think what does MY nut in about her, Glenroy and Pete "I'm in me sixties, son" is that surely,  SURELY even they must realise how ridiculous and obsessed they sound.....but actually,  no they don't and that is what irritates me.
Put it this way: if I'm out on the lash and being an annoying idiot or if I'm in a massive sulk at work then i know I'm behaving like a twat and at least mentally I'll put the handbrake on, leave the pub or the office and spare the others my bad behaviour.

It would seem not to be the case with some of the WM football family and that includes Al from solihull (cringe !)

There’s two threads on there now. One about the play offs they aren’t involved in.  (Disguised as the latest Villa thread).  The other entitled Boro mentions about three posts about Gibson’s comments and the rest about us spawny bastards for not breaking ffp and Derby.

Didn't someone on here give her the moniker "Cat Piss Poly"

Polly is 89.  Seriously, what else does she have to do all day.

We have something in common with most of the fans from our local rivals, when it comes to WM.
Villa fans ring up to talk about the Villa.

So do they.

Wait for the moment in the day that gives her some importance to her life. How, or even where else would an 89 year old get the opportunity to inarticulately express her views..I mean rant about her rivals thinking it matters?  WM obviously give her the feeling she's a very important part of the programme.  They're using her.  I'm surprised really that what would appear a respected broadcast institution would want to increase its listener base by going down such a route.

We must be the only club in the country whose fans won't be able to share their joy on a local football phone in if they win the play offs because the phone lines will be jammed with fans of another club. If we were to win the play off final by one goal we would be called 'spawny'. If we win 6-0 we will be told we shouldn't have been allowed to qualify for the game due to FFP.

Isn't it just great that our local rivals are more bothered about us than their own teams. Makes you wonder if they look for our results beforw they look for their own. Long may it continue... UTV

I have always said that Small Heath fans will quite happily accept a 2-0 defeat so long as Villa lose 3-0 on the same day.

A blue nose that i know very well has told me many times that Villa losing 5-0 would give him much much more pleasure than Blues winning 5-0.

There was a Baggies fan on there yesterday, and he said that if Albion win, he treats himself to a pint, if we lose he has 3    -    Does this mean we are 3 times more important to him?   Bless!
