Some classics tonight ...

'i want Nigel Pearson'
'the kid Lansbury should be playing, i saw him and he's a great footballer'
'now it's come out Bolasie has been inured for a year, he could be out for a couple more months'

A few humdingers from the last 5 minutes. JFC

Don’t usually listen but caught a bit tonight. A Wolves fan reckoned that they are now so far ahead of other Midlands teams that not only will Villa never finish above them again, we won’t even get anywhere near them, ever again.

They’re a down to earth, modest bunch aren’t they?

It depends what he's been inured to I guess. If it's hard work and skilful football then I'm all for that. ;)

According to Franksy we are a club divided.

Maybe so if he means Bruce on one side and everyone else on the other.
We could always send them a screenshot of the poll on the bruce out thread, its the very definition of a Landslide !

On Monday Franks and Matt the Wolves fan might as well have been pulling each other’s puds as they were waxing lyrical on how “Wolves this, Wolves that, Wolves are amazing etc etc.

Caught a bit of it tonight. Julie? the Villa fan pretty much summing up the majority of fans thoughts pretty well methinks.

Oh and I do like it when Garry Thompson is on as it always reminds me of him scoring at the Sty.

Some fool even thought Bruce was doing a good job. The world's full of them.

He is rather fond of the sound of his own voice isn't he!!

Matt the wolves fan generally rings up 4/5 times a week & just says the same stuff each night to whoever the studio Guest is.

They have played four games. They have won one, drawn two and lost one and have a minus goal difference. Points wise they are closer to the bottom three than the top four. I'm not sure they should be spending money on renewing their passports and buying European guide books just yet.

Think once he said he was 19. He needs to get out more rather than watching YouTube clips and saying “I was reading an interesting stat Franksy”.

He also has a high pitched 'errrrr'

The station does need to be renamed Wolves FM though.  They aren't even trying to hide their wankathon over them these days.

I never used to mind the dingles, they got on Smethwick's nerves and that was good enough for me.  I don't even begrudge them success but their delusions of late have made me dislike them a lot.  From Champions League winners in three years, to a 60,000 toilet bowl in the centre of Chapel Ash Island, it gets more ludicrous by the week.

Particularly when the draw with Man Citeh was against the backdrop of them having one shot on target which was where their goal came from and that was handled into the net, where they should have conceded a couple of stick on penalties and where the opposition hit the woodwork 3 times. Not proof positive of imminent world domination to me but plenty of them have taken it that way.

Wolves have looked okay, but then no team other than West Ham and maybe Huddersfield have looked out of their depth (Man Yoo are crap but their 'crisis' will reach a head soon). I don't expect them to come straight back down but last season they had no long-term injuries, suspensions or player-unsettling rumours and it will be interesting to see how resilient they really are when something goes wrong.

Mick the Wolf has just popped up again, and banging on about Wolves laying the foundations in the 1950s for our European Cup win.

"Europe in three, Wolves ay we".

Apparently...

And the win was a 93rd minute winner against West Ham (4 played, zero points taken).
