Blimey it was good listening tonight.  An Albion wake.

It was always an 'interesting' idea to sack the very man you needed to come in and do a job. I've been wondering has anybody ever done it deliberately, put a manager on leave for a month, take him out of action then after a rest put him back in the firing line, ideally refreshed/raring to go again. My instinct (for what it's worth) is that it might have been a very cost effective thing to have done with Pulis, rather than pay him off, but I guess it depends how much the dressing room was lost.

This must have been the worst Saturday in Paul Franks' career. Every result went against him.

I remember you interviewing him for H&V years ago and you cryptically put at the end he was probably a Villa fan.

Is this all an act as from his usual comments Villa is the last club you'd guess he'd support.

I personally would respect him more if he just came out and said who he supported.

People poked fun at Tom Ross but that was more for the hysterical commentaries and the phone ins rather than for admitting who he supports. And he always gives the impression he wants all West Midlands teams to do well.

So that's why he hates Villa then, the met Dave.

It's put me off them as well to be honest.

Even when that old racist Eddie doesn't get on air, they still pay homage to him by playing this "eddie-a" (based on Amazon's Alexa)..... I genuinely hate this moron who sounds like he's been permanently kicked in the balls.

That is some of the worst radio I have heard in my life. And I used to listen to Chris Moyles. Whoever thought it was a funny idea needs firing.

I sometimes listen on the way home from work and Eddie is one of the seven or eight regular contributors that help WM justify keeping the program going, without them nobody would call in, hence no phone-in. However I must have missed the show where he was outed as an old racist, but I don't tune in every night.

Blimey. And they still allow him to call in. I suppose if he was banned it would be one less regular caller.

From an earlier page on this topic. Shocking.

So much for Franksy & co regarding Eddie as a good natured wind up merchant. Listen to this.

Nose Brenda crying was very funny.

Cotterill meltdown.

Nose Dave “at the end of the day” “he’s gotta gooooo”

Definitely worth a listen 😂😂😂😂

I can't seem to find it which is a shame. The latest one showing is for Friday night.
