What time does the fun start?

5.30 pm

Ta very much. What's the betting we're at the least the 3rd team to get mentioned, if not the 4th!

This must have been the worst Saturday in Paul Franks' career. Every result went against him.

I remember you interviewing him for H&V years ago and you cryptically put at the end he was probably a Villa fan.

Is this all an act as from his usual comments Villa is the last club you'd guess he'd support.

I personally would respect him more if he just came out and said who he supported.

People poked fun at Tom Ross but that was more for the hysterical commentaries and the phone ins rather than for admitting who he supports. And he always gives the impression he wants all West Midlands teams to do well.

Wolves fan up first must have said ‘you know’ about 300 times.

Think of it like a big gig or a festival. The headliners come on last.

Everyone who's ever known him says he is, or was, a Villa supporter. Why he behaves how he does is beyond me.

The one at work has given it up after Saturday. He gets far more enjoyment from watching our league anyway.

Stripey at work two weeks ago “we’re playing better football, it’s so much better than with Pulis, we’ll be OK”

Today “we’ve had it, he’s got to go”

One I spoke to today was similar. Saying how boring the Premier League is and that it's better to be in the Championship. I know what he means but I somehow don't think he would be saying that if they were doing ok.

No problem with Tom. He was just a little too native with the clubs largely.  He genuinely probably wanted a Blues Villa Albion Top 3 in the Top League.
