Some blues fan just rang in having a massive rant & must have said “at the end of the day” 20 times in about 3 minutes

I never usually listen to WM but did for about fifteen minutes between six and seven tonight. I only came on to this thread to post about exactly the same guy you have posted about! If anything your estimate of him saying it 20 times might be a bit conservative. He also came out with the line " at the end of the day, attack is the best form of of attack" . But I knew what he meant (at the end of the day).

That will be the infamous Paul.  The words ‘at the end of the day’ are closely followed by ‘you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,’

There was one Blue Nose on there who said 'fundamentally' about 6 times.

look there learning, some of them even conceded they were beat by the better team, which implies I suppose that other than Villa there was another team on the pitch?

The Mail's Small Heath correspondent is naturally enough biased towards the club he supports. Their Villa correspondent is the same.

I thought Gregg Evans was their Villa correspondent and his loyalties lie in Sandwell (though Mat Kendrick seems to contribute as well)?  Not a major issue, but I just thought some of the marks for Villa players were harsh whereas some for the Blues players were overly generous.

The rags were shit, again. They had no 8 out of 10 performances, they had a few 6's but by and large most of their team were anonymous and the game passed them by. 5's all round. I suppose they gained bonus points for being plucky underdogs against the FFP cheating scum that we are.

Your not kidding about them being anonymous. If you asked me to name their starting eleven including their first names I would be totally screwed.

Polly’s back and she’s suggesting that if Grounds had played they’d have won. Bless her.

She got increasingly more bitter the longer she spoke. She even tried to give Small Heath credit for the 41k attendance.

Not true!
We may have sold out (42500) if we didn't have to take them into the equation. Security etc.

Sold out a couple of weeks before game. That suggests we could certainly have sold more if available.

Polly does sound old but I have to say she annoys the fucking life out of me. She's a bitter bitter nose of the highest order. A one eyed, jealous villa hating cnut. Sorry but I had to get that off my chest.
