No sign of Polly tonight.

Or Pete from Erdington who’s been going for 50 years

Still hiding under their beds, probably.
Or just going in for the night shift at Land Rover

They'll be in the city centre. No Villa fans to be seen there.

Some blues fan just rang in having a massive rant & must have said “at the end of the day” 20 times in about 3 minutes

I never usually listen to WM but did for about fifteen minutes between six and seven tonight. I only came on to this thread to post about exactly the same guy you have posted about! If anything your estimate of him saying it 20 times might be a bit conservative. He also came out with the line " at the end of the day, attack is the best form of of attack" . But I knew what he meant (at the end of the day).

Not WM, but had a chuckle reading the Birmingham Mail tonight.  I think the ratings for the respective sides were done by different people, but their back four all got higher marks than ours.  That big lump with blonde hair at the back who was absolutely awful on the ball got an 8 which was the same as Grealish got.

That will be the infamous Paul.  The words ‘at the end of the day’ are closely followed by ‘you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,’

An 8??? Good fucking lord, he was woeful. Absolutely no composure, and looked extremely uncomfortable every time the ball went near him. An 8. Haha

Is that the fella who claims to be a Villa fan and rang up after we'd just stuffed Brizzle 5-0 to say how our full backs aren't as good as Wolves'?!

Their two full-backs both got 7 as well, while Hutton only got 6.5.  Their left-back was terrible and Jenkinson was given a torrid time by Adomah and should have been sent off.

The Mail's Small Heath correspondent is naturally enough biased towards the club he supports. Their Villa correspondent is the same.

The Mail has to be the most pointless regional publication in the country.  It's utter shit.
