[/quote] 100% this (especially the MoTD bit).  I have actively resolved to refrain from listening to TalkSHITE (even as background noise) after their "attack" on us after the Leicester game.  I got back to the car after the game feeling mildly upbeat and they completely pissed on my chips.  I thought Saggers was one of the more balanced ones but he's just as much of a twat as the rest of them.

What did they say?

I can honestly say that collectively I've probably listened to no more than an hour of Talk Sport ever.

139 pages slagging off Radio WM's attitude and coverage of the Villa, correct me if I am wrong but on every electrical device and non electrical (battery) that you can tune into this pox ridden station is an off button, use the fucking thing.

This is true, but what we are debating is the attitude that our major local broadcaster has for the biggest club in their area. And we will remain the biggest club with the most support in their broadcasting area even when we are relegated.
How a seemingly serious presenter can give any credence at all to the asset stripping bollocks is a mystery, I assume at one point this bloke had dreams of becoming a proper journalist or something?

Another one called tonight and went on about Bodymoor being closed down in the summer and all the fittings being stripped out and sold.

And that WM are going to ask Hollis if it's true.

'So Reg, is it true you're going to sell off all of Villa's assets and give the money to Mr Lerner as part of his divorce settlement?'

'No.'

'Really appreciate your time Reg.'

They will run with that

"Well Randy you want £150 million for the club and have spent around £300 million in total, so how does it fell getting 276 quid for 11 Mira powershowers and an assortment of bathmats"?

See this is why I listen to it.  Tony tonight on about asset stripping.  Franksy who to be fair was trying to keep a straight face I'm sure asks him why would they do that?  Answer 'so he can support his baseball assets in America.'  Then when asked if he wanted to enter the villa Liverpool ticket competition.  'Name another club apart from Villa and Liverpool that have won the European Cup.'  Answer 'Man City.'

Carrot was right I tells ya.

Whilst driving home from work I had a listen, its always the same thick bricks ringing up with some barely able to string a coherent sentence together, those twats on Talksport are a better listen than WM.

I hate to think what Franksey's drive time show is like. Has he spoken to Norfolk's youngest butcher yet?

Always the last choice of stations when flicking through the car radio. Their drivel is barely worth a comment.

Also:

Si who loves Gabby
Robert from Wednesbury and Rob from Halesowen or are they the same?

Charles Ross the self-appointed Wolves spokesman;

Then from Tescos there's:
Terry and his Greed League rant,
Bev who writes truly awful songs and
Mel, Naomi..and Barry the lone Saddler .
Like regulars in a pub permanently on rewind and repeat, but can be strangely comforting on the daily journey home.

Franksy spends 15 minutes recapping the calls from the night before and asking repetitive open questions before going to Nina for the travel every 5 minutes to minimise the number of calls he has to take.

At least Wilford and Rego the Leeds fan get on with it when they sub in.
