I do think there's something to be said about songs which go on for absolutely ages (as this new one seems to).At Wembley for the MON CCC final, I remember "Martin O'Neill's Claret and Blue Army" going on for a spine tingling amount of time at one point. My dad was watching the match at home on telly and texted me to say it was deafening, and that it was very noticeable how much noisier we were than the Man U fans.
I remember getting right on my dad's wick at that game, clapping in his ear for what must have been well over half an hour straight.Big Fat Ron's Claret and Blue Army!
I saw a youtube clip from Wednesday night and was surprised to hear a very loud rendition of 'I ho, I ho, it's up the Holte we go' which brought back some memories. I also saw a few lads trying to gets 'The Bells are ringing' going. I hope it takes off in the near future, especially the way the team are playing. I have wonderful memories of it being sang on the Sutton Lions Club coach continuously for five hours after a midweek away win at Norwich.
The I ho song got a very loud rendition at Arsenal too.

The Villa never fail to amaze me, having played them at Carrow Road the week before, we took thousands there and you're right, it did sound better at the game. What's this Villa arse-slasher all about?
