I've been at Latitude all weekend. I'd been looking forward to seeing Noel Gallagher for some time. Strangely I had lost my appetite for him by this weekend.

Fuck the weasel shitbag and that, but I think he's a bloody good player and he'll succeed up there.

I honestly don't Lee. He isn't particularly good at one area of the game. I think if he plays regularly, Man City won't be finishing top 4.

it will be interesting to see
I am a massive fan of Delph easily gets into the top 3 midfielders of the last 10 years or more
but this is a step up in terms of performance and presure every week, its a different sort of pressure fighting relegation cant be a bowl of cherries either but now his performance level will be under more scrutiny, every time he gives the ball away will be highlighted

games like the semi final and he will be a star there, games like the final and he wont even make the bench
I would back him to be a regular starter at city at the moment because I think very highly of him as a player, but i'l admit I'm not 100% sure and if he doesn't get regular football he could just fall away

I suppose we shall never know the truth until he is down to his last few million and out on loan to Millwall.   All will be revealed in his book "Fabian Delph - Hiss Story".

Not sure why I watched it,but just looked at the video of Delph in the club shop with Mike Summerbee.

What a smug old carp Summerbee is. Probably wishful thinking but Delph's body language doesn't look good, he looks very uncomfortable. Snake fuck.

I've been thinking something similar since he deserted.  He hasn't looked as happy as I imagine he should.  It's as if; despite all that's gone on, he knows he will end up a splinter cushion, albeit a rich one.  Time will tell.

He's ashamed of himself.

There's probably a part of him that isn't happy with how he handled things. None of us begrudge him the move from a career standpoint. But it's how he made a complete wanker of himself over and over again in getting to that point. And he's going to be reminded of it too especially if doesn't break into that line up or maintain his starting position with England going into a tournament.

Delph isn't fit to lace the boots of either of the two central midfielders Yanited have signed, while he's nowhere near the quality Milner offers in the middle either. I'd be genuinely a little worried if I were Man City.

Indeed ,Milner has 2 goals in preseason already for Liverpool they should of kept him and played him CM.

Id love to see Delph fail spectacularly at City but I don't think he will, he's looked top class playing with shite players, he will do well for them. The bell-end.

I think he'll play and do okay there. He won't do as well as I guess he hopes but *shrugs* I don't care that much about Man City's midfield.

I don't have a problem with Delph leaving its just the way this transfer has been dealt with. Obviously he's gone for more money and a better chance of winning something, I can fully understand that. What really pisses me off and I imagine every other Villa fan is why rubbish the transfer rumours and pledge yourself to Villa, then less than a week later bugger off to Man City. He's an idiot, why not just keep his gob shut instead of spouting out the loyalty bollocks that it obviously was.
Why can't these bloody footballers be honest with the fans, they may then earn some respect.

Has his Man City wage been reported?  There's an assumption that he is getting paid loads more but I would not be surprised if he is on only marginally more than with us.
