Was Delph in any of the promo kit stuff yesterday?

Just Jack & Gabby I think.

Delph is in the season ticket renewal image live today though. With Sherwood, Gabby, Tekkers & Clark.

Interesting, I had a theory that because it was the new kit then the club didnt have access to our internationals for the shoot whenever it was taken, but if clark was there then that blows it away, he was playing with the Republic during international break right?

I think they take them in person. Do you remember the video that came out with them last season?

I'm starting to get the sense he's going, which will really upset me. Not that I blame him. I think he gets in there team at the moment.

Why oh why didn't we sign him up a year ago. Stupidity.

Express are running that he has agreed terms with them. If he goes I will be as gutted as when we last Milner, although not as good Delph was  symbol of something different after his statement after signing his new deal.

If he goes then I wish him all the best.  His signing up a few months ago gave us a huge boost and that together with his end of season form played a massive part in us staying up and the cup run.  It also gets us the £8m or so we wouldn't have got if he didn't sign.  So whether he stays or goes he has done us a big favour.

I don't think he should get stick for the 'my club' quotes either - that played it's own part in galvanizing the fans and the team.

Not sure how I feel about this, obviously he could have not signed a new contract and we'd have lost him for nothing but it's all the spiel about loyalty in football and better things to come he gave that if he was to leave a few months later would be very very hollow.

Chris I honestly think the only galvanising factor was Lambore getting the sack. Don't forget we still played awful after he signed the contact.

I think we'll just have to disagree.  It was a really big boost and has made us a lot of money too.

The Express story is not their own but just reporting on something from the 'Goal' website.

I know, I do appreciate something is better than nothing, it's just a body blow in footballing terms to lose your Captain a couple of months after he resigns.

I'm sure if we sign players of the calibre of who we are linked with, such as Amavi and Gueye then we will be much stronger next year but I don't like the image of our club losing it's Captain so quickly, I'd rather he stayed another season. New World order and all that I guess, we are in reality not attractive.
