Well thats out of the way and every player in Villa will hold their heads high and look forward to Liverpool at Villa Park.
Didnt lose by 8. Benteke is Top goalscorer with 3 in 2 games.
Okore and Vlaar was so much better then any fullback pairing in 2 years at least.
Looks strong on every position. True it hasnt been Weimann best 2 games, and he has been missing some of our best chances today.
Nevertheless, he is there to create them chances. Few more games and hopefully he find the form.
Best news so far in my opinion is Delphs improvement...and thats on top of the still great finish he had last season.
Lambo bigging up Fabian in his interview....and Okore coming in.
More from Jose Mourinho, this time on Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert's protests that Branislav Ivanovic should have been sent off for a clash with Christian Benteke before heading home Chelsea's winner: "Benteke makes a lot of fouls and the opponent who plays against him has to make a lot of fouls.
"Paul Lambert reminds me of me at his age. Now I complain with some decisions, at his age I complained at every decision. Paul complains at every decision, I was the same. Benteke and Ivanivic, they are two giants, it was 50/50."
Cheeky fuck!
Cheating fuck.
I know I'll get flamed for this, but I'm glad he's back. He's good value and knows how to play the press. I also think we have got the best up and coming manager in Eurpoe and if he ends up like Jose I'll be delighted - especially with the success. Surely the scousers will suffer as a result now......
I am still angry and I will be in the morning.Kevin Friend has form against us and should never ref a game we are playing in again.I can take a ref making mistakes, but I can't take cheating.

I like him a lot, too. He makes it all more interesting.
There's no point moaning about backhanded compliments. That's what he does.
I think stays fit, judging on that tonight, it will take Clark and Baker a long time to get back in. Luna and Lowton did well too IMO. And the defenders were not at fault for either goal really, with KEA and Benteke realistically to blame.
Stan on TS has lost his impartiality - he is going mental.
He has form with Chelsea fans.
That's the benchmark lads, 36 games at that level and we'll have a great season.
UTV!
The defeat down there last year, quite arguably cost us 9 points.
This year we can justifiably feel aggrieved not to have a point, and full of confidence for the season ahead.
We go again.
As for the penalty, if you can see why that is given beyond 90th minute at the Bridge, then you are a significantly more enlightened man than I.
You've clearly made your mind up that everyone is against us and that there is some shadowy conspiracy going on, so I'm not going to bother trying to change your mind.
But I assume that this conspiracy that means we would never get an injury time penalty at Chelsea was set up sometime after 2007?
No conspiracy just cheating.

It's the same as Ferguson. He must have offered more compliments about us under O'Neill then any opposition manager ever did. Nearly always after we'd just rolled over for another 3-0 defeat.
If we'd held out for a point, I'm sure Mourinho wouldn't have been so complimentary.
Hey ho. These things even themselves out. We probably got the rub of the green on Saturday so won't get too narked.
This team has got the potential to be up there with the sides of 89/90 and 95/96 - the surprise package of the season. I loved both those sides and I'm quickly falling in love with this one...
he is and he is right
Im pissed off . awful ref ..

Ferguson was frequently very complimentary about teams who weren't a threat to him.
Here is Paul Lambert's take on that incident involving Christian Benteke and Branislav Ivanovic, and also John Terry's handball in the Chelsea area, which went unpunished: "It is easy to come on here and have sour grapes but it is there for everybody to see. He clearly elbowed Christian Benteke, it was a sending off.
"The penalty was a penalty, everybody saw that. He missed two huge moments. "How can you miss that magnitude of a decision? It is beyond me.
