8 Weimann (I know it's not vacant but I still think of 8 as a striker's number so KEA will have to move.

Since when has the no8 shirt been worn by strikers? cant think of a single one. Always a CM number

Yep, definitely showing my age. I always associate certain numbers with certain players. 8 is Shaw @ Little, 6 is Mortimer even though it's often seen as a defender's number. I reckon it's to do with who had the shirt when you first started watching the Villa
