Does anyone remember the ones from about 1991, where Richard Keys would do the commentary. He'd obviously seem the goals beforehand and tried to pretend it was live commentary. It is shockingly embarrassing. Rather like Jonathan Pearce's feeble attempts now

I think the first one I had was '88-'89. I think Martin Tyler talks us through the season and does some commentary. I distinctly remember Brian Moore doing what appeared to be a live commentary at Charlton, including his utter disbelief at a couple of moments of madness from Nigel Spink.

I don't suppose you fancy transferring seasons '88 to '93, the 1987 win at blues and the 5-0 and 6-0 blues games in '88 for me do you? Actually, I think I might still have a 'home video' knocking around that I made with my ex which would be interesting to see after all these years too.

I though it was Gerald "a single for the stalls please" Sinstadt rather than Moore?

You might be right. I keep repeating "What's Spink doing? And what's he doing now?" in my head. But it seems to sound right whichever of those two voices I put to it.  If I had to put money on it though, I would stick with Brian Moore. Especially as it was a London game. Wasn't Gerald the North West? Maybe eastie can watch the DVD and let us know.

To be honest, I can't compete with the Karren Brady's and Exclamation Marks of this world.
