Mooching around the intertubeweb, I chanced across this site http://astonvillacentral.com/,
which has some interesting Villa themed T-shirts for sale.

Not sure who the designer is, appears to be a US based Englishman according to the site: http://awaydesign.com/about/

Macron have done a good job with the new Scottish rugby kit after some of the hideous numbers they've had recently.

Bought the new home shirt last weekend. Only just tried it on. The quality of it is much much better than last years material and feel. Nice detail too. Good work Macron

S0orry for the bump but how much smaller is it to last year's?

Can anyone answer this cos large was fucking huge last year so got medium, but it's slimmer this year.

It's well known that Capes hated Birmingham City, I thought everybody knew that.

It's even on his Wikipedia page *

Does seem a bit strange having a change strip which can't be used again a quarter of the division though...

One word. Kerching.
Why not?
I'm sure it would have been taken into account during design and choosing.
If you look at our two kits together there's no reason for us not to use the away shirt vs WHU and teams in red. There's an awful lot of white and the 'Blackcurrent' is nothing like claret or red.

Who not what?

Why not use the away top at West ham, you mean?

I reckon there's far too much similarity there.

If not, why are we having a third kit this season? Coincidence?

I think it was pretty obvious what I was on about!!

As for the away top being similar to WHU home top, you must behaving a laugh, there is nothing similar at all.
If a team played in our away shirt at Villa Park you're saying that you'd have a problem identifying which team was which?

No, I wouldn't, and it's not about the kits looking the same, it's the fact that the away kit has so much of a colour which is very similar to our home colour.

We'll see, though, when we play West Ham.

And lo, we play West Ham and which kit do we wear?

http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~3206695,00.html

There is a fair bit of detailing in the new shirts, and looking at these close ups, maybe the quality will be ok.
On the whole, I very much like the look of these, well done Villa and Macron.

The quality is poor on both. I know they're football shirts but these feel particularly lightweight. Cheap material used, poor quality stitching etc.

Look good on official pics but in real life they're pretty bad imo.
