Strange 'twitchy' interview from Di Canio.  Reminds me of Kerry Katona somehow....

Can I also say... "well done Agent Cuellar - Mission Accomplished". A defensive display from King Carlos on a par with some of our worst this season.

We still need some more points. Hope the players don't get too carried away just yet.

Or on a par with most of his games for us. I was never a fan at all. He makes James Collins look like Beckenbauer. Nice guy though

OFSTED can fuck right off. I can't believe I've missed us destroying Sunderland.

You are supposed to carry on as normal Lee when you get the call!!!!

There should be no call.

I agree. We will debate that one day over a pint. Meanwhile I'll have a word on where we choose to go on big match days for the Villa!

I look forward to that. I let a lot of people down today because of this.

The significant thing was them equalising so soon. We'd have folded at home a few months back because of the kids. Growing up fast i reckon.

Best thing is that it hasn't even started there. Wait until it really kicks off and he starts attacking their players as they walk of the pitch like he did at Swindon.

Just seen the goals on Sky, did anyone notice the look of complete joy and surprise on Gabby's face when Vlaar's shot went in.  Priceless.

Unless I am mistaken, Gabby scored his 10th of the season tonight. Weimann scored his 14th. When was the last time we had 3 strikers in double figures in one season?

Of all the comparisons, Orville was not the one I expected.

Westwood, Lowton, Benteke and Guzan must be pound for pound 4 of the best signings in our post Sky history. All 4 for what, 11 million. You would see near on 50 back I reckon.

Hunger and passion shown by every one of our players tonight. Absolutely superb. I think that Sylla was my man of the match. An absolute terrier in midfield.
On a side note I had a quid on concrete as first goalscorer at 40/1 and a Benteke hat trick at 25/1. Up the Villa!!

I think that's it, they've grown up and gained character quick. Still work to do, probably 4 points but we can do it.

Also in the heat of the moment I went mad at our defence but Sunderland's goal was superb. I don't think the defence could do too much.

Goal difference Saturday 3pm versus Monday 10pm:

Norwich -20/ -21
Sunderland -7/ -12
Newcastle -17/ -23
Villa -27/ -22

It doesn't often get better than that.

I reckon we only need 3, Wigan aren't going to get another eight.
