Any news on injuries / team etc ?

I hope we don't start with CNZ on this one, we need bottle, and also the pace of Gabby could be very useful tonight.

3 points, hard earned ( as usual) and a nail bighting end to the game with DiCanio saluting the Holte End :)

To quote the Mail from 1974 after our 2nd Division side beat Arsenal in the cup:

“The mountain of humanity known as the Holte End must be included in the scoreline. There are times when a crowd can be very much part of a performance. This was one of them.”

The same again tonight please, gents and you'll count yourselves lucky to have been there tonight.

We'll blatantly let a goal in, so I'm going for 2-2 or a 2-1 win for either side.

Basically I think we'll either win, lose or draw.

Forget the manager, lets just focus all our attention on the game.  And winning the fcuker.

Exactly that, Des.
Best way to piss off Di Canio is to make sure every decision goes our way, his players make numerous mistakes and his side take a hiding. Then we can all sit back and laugh as his head spins before imploding.

Agree can't see a postponement or abandoned match

Yep, any chance of that has disappeared now that Legion won't be at the match

To quote our fanzine, what's not to like?

Makes a change from the hand salutes he normally makes.

I feel sick.

As do I, I was trying to explain the feeling to a non football supporting co-worker and she just thought it was ridiculous. She's probably right.

I haven't felt like this since 03.03.03 and we all know what happened there.

I just hope Lambert let's the lads know they're in for a huge battle tonight. It's going to be frentic and I'd certainly be having serious thoughts on whether Sylla can keep his head and not get sent off with one of his late tackles. Like that match ten years ago, we ended up playing with 10 men. Whilst I would look to bring in another midfielder in place of N'Zogbia, I'm not sure who I trust in there. Shame Lambert doesn't rate Clark as a midfielder, I really think he could do a great job there tonight.

Sunderland haven't become Barcelona overnight, man up man.

Ditto.

Pounding headache due to the nerves I think. What I would give for 4 more points than we have that we have chucked away this season.
