Weimann has had a shocker. Hope he rebounds against Sunderland.

All his shots will at least.

I nearly put at the start of the thread that the worst thing we could do was score first

Dare I say it losing 3-0 up there is no disgrace, games like this will not define our season.

in the manner that we will have lost it is. It isn't like we battle and at various times succumbed to them being the better team on what will be a big night for them. We gave it to them in such a sorry manner. Shit decisions aside it should have been very different in terms of performance in the first half. That said, if we can come our of the second half with some credit and dignity, I suppose that is something...

Relegation threatened teams routinely get turned over by 3-4 at Old Trafford, Wigan lost 4-0 there earlier this season for example.

The disappointment is just like Chelsea away we conceded in 90 seconds and pratically lost the match straight from then. I think starting all 4 of our attackers was too ambitious as we couldn't dig in and stay for 0-0 as long as possible with just two in central midfield.

Goal difference is out of play again I'd say after this.

Thing is had we started with more defenders we'd have sucked deeper and deeper and we'd have beaten just the same. And there would have no threat at all going forward. Not that there was much tonight. Our failing is our lack of belief and our "ability" to give the ball away. You give it to Wigan they'll hurt you at this level. Give to the best team in the league...well you saw what just happened

It's a shame they didn't ease up BEFORE they scored the three goals.

THREE GOALS OFFSIDE!!! Fuck me, with friends like this bent linesman who needs decent players...

Sorry you are wrong. Nothing at all wrong with at least two. Blame our defence not the officials.

Soorry mate just seen them analysed by ESPN over here in USA and they were all offside.

So our inch perfect positioning and perfect defence display has all been undone by cheating officials.  Shucks.

No not cheating mate I never said that just calm yourself down. no it was the linesman's failure to spot all three players standing in offside positions on each of the goals.  If we had a cricket type review system all three decisions would have been turned over you cannot deny that sir.  I'm not saying that United would not have won the game just want the facts to be stated that's all.
