This will destroy the fragile confidence of our young players. I think the good run is over.

3 offsides to nil.

Not for me , 1st van persie was behind the ball , 2 nd level and 3rd no problem- bad defending not bad officials.

Ok some perspective. We were always going to lose and our goal difference is already fucked. It's all about Wigan now and they haven't closed the gap this evening.

We were never going to win this game but this has really focused my mind on the fact that we are now odds on to go down in my view
They can win 10-0 and we'll still be odds against to go down, because Wigan are still behind us.

With a game in hand, and a much better goal difference.
We're still odds against.

Have a look at any bookmakers that you wish.

Fucking atrocious, try and shut up shop Lambert.

What with our defenders, don't make me laugh.

It wasn't Van Persie offside for the first.

Forget this game, it's over it's up to these gutless wankers to show some fighting spirit for the remaining 4 games. Westwood that was abysmal.

You now what, I'm think we'd actually have been better off if Lerner had appointed Steve McClaren.

Anyone here listening to the R5 commentary? I couldn't bring myself to listen to it when I heard Alan Green talking about tonight earlier on R5.

Bookies are rarely wrong, I think in this case around 10pm they might be.

Jesus Christ. How the fuck did Lambert think this defence was anywhere near good enough?

And that negligence is why, if we go down, he should be fucked right off out of it.

Too right.

It's why he should have been sacked at Christmas, to be honest. But we'll save that for another thread.
