The full allocation will be 4,500. Police will not allow the full 5,400 I don't think. Unless I manage to get a ticket on a normal season card, or I manage to fluke a ticket from somewhere, I will be in the Wigan end.

By the way, anyone going up to Manchester the night before? At the moment I know of 35 Villa fans staying over for the night. £8.50 train to Manchester

If I can get hold of a ticket that is my plan.

I would think the initial allocation will have sold out by Friday.

On another forum someone saying Dave Whelan is trying to restrict us to 3000 tickets as he doesn't want us to have any advantage if it comes to the final day. Surely not? He really is a tosser that guy.

It's all they have to give us, and in the same situation we'd do the same. Twat he may be but I don't blame him on this one.

Agreed. He can give us however many he wants. I'm sure the 3,000 of us there will make enough racket anyway.

Great plan by Whelan if true. All but guarantees trouble as Villa fans try and get in the home ends. Fucking cock.

The providence for the rumour appears to be a chap on VT who has heard whispers.

These ITK's must be easy to clock with their laryngitis.

There will be nigh on five and a half thousand official Villa there and maybe another 1000 in their ends.

He won't restrict tickets, 4,500 will be the full allocation they haven't given the 5,400 for 2 years now. There will be 6000+ travelling spending the night in Blackpool and Manchester or travelling up on the day. The location of this game means whether it meant something or not, we were always going to take thousands up

They have given out the full 5400 allocation loads of times this season. Go onto Twitter, search for "football away days". After a wee bit of searching you will see that Bradford and Newcastle to name but two had the entire end.

Rung up this morning to get 6 tickets. It was contantly engaged for 15 minutes and when i did get through i was 23rd in the que.
They took the money and all the references without checking them but said they are doing a big "audit" on all tickets sold later to make sure everyone has the required amount of games on them as they are so busy.

She said she expects it to sell out today and they have asked Wigan a number of times for an extra allocation but dont know if they will get any and to keep checking the website.

Hiya,

If anyone has 2 spare references to be used for this game I would really appreciate it!

On my reference I am eligible from Friday, but obviously would love to get my hands on a ticket before it sells out, and get one for my bf too.

Thanks in advance
